MIPH ( Minimally Invasive Procedure for Hemorrhoids) is defined as a minimally invasive surgical technique in which a band of loose or prolapsed mucosa and sub mucosa in the rectum is excised , proximal to the piles and disrupted mucosa is fixed by ‘stapled end to end mucosal anastomosis’. By which the blood supply to the pile mass is interrupted and pile mass get reduced.

It’s a noninvasive procedure for piles .Useful in Gr. II, III and IV. Here we take the two double knot suture 2 and 4 cm above the dentate line fix in mucosa, submucosa and muscular layer. Hence it stop the blood supply to the pile masses and hence reduce or abolish the bleeding as well as prolapsed. It is a day care procedure. Patient discharged within 24 hrs. less pain, no bleeding.
